Tried my Motorola Atrix and the wife's Sansung Infuse. They're having a conference call this afternoon to figure out what the next setps are - Mazda Technical Support will be participating as well. Some people might have problems with them because of the software and unlocks out there but they work great, even call waiting works great on them. Anybody finds out anything more or have these phones and got them to work, please let me know. It is correct that the 5's sync ok, and Pandora works great with them on the Mazda radio. I've tried pairing the e63 and a 2760, but no matter what I do the bluetooth keeps exiting out. Making voice calls and answering incoming work great. Dealership sent me away and said to follow up with my cell provider what the provider can do about a bluetooth connection is beyond me. Anyone have any ideas or solutions? They promised to call me with an update. The steps required to pair your smartphone with Mazda Bluetooth may vary slightly based on the type of phone you use. I want to change it but not sure how. I just wish the Text Messaging would work. Other phones will skip this process and pair your device automatically. We tried deleting the phone from the system and re-pairing it, but the problem remains the same. Before you start playing around too much, though, one of the first things you should do is figure out how to sync your Mazda Bluetooth with your phone. This isn't making alot of sense right now given that a MacBook works in a 2012. The ability to go hands-free and use your phone is very appealing to many safety-minded drivers. Keep in mind that although some phones might connect to Bluetooth, it may be possible that certain features are not compatible with that phone. Did you ever get this fixed? When it does that, it dropped the existing connection. This audio platform has numerous functionalities and is a great asset to drivers. I can also kinda hear an echo with my bluetooth headset, so the problem is the cheap phone. The manual contains no such disclaimer. Everything else works except voice commands with text messages. You can perform a variety of functions with Bluetooth connectivity. We also just got the Palm Pre Plus. Mazda Corporate is working on trying to figure out the next step. Additionally, I have not noticed, yet, any interruption in bluetooth playback when leaving a wifi zone as I had previously. It works fine with others, just not Apple devices. Yeah, I tried all the different settings. I also have to delete all old paired one. Go through the verbal prompts to 'select' the iPhone from the list it's number 1 in the priority list. Not sure if it will be different with the Verizon Palm Pre Plus.
This may be enough of a reason to buy the 2010 I have an '07 Sport that is nearing the end of its lease or go elsewhere. I only had a few moments, and didnt go through enough menus to find out if it was possible. How long do we need to wait? Seriously this whole time I tried to sync my phone it was because I was trying to do it while driving. Hope this helps you somehow. When hearing music there is no issue at all. I'm having the exact same problem.
Did you get any software updates for your phone by chance? If I say cancel nothing happens either. Our iphone 3G works great. I had my wife call me from her phone to check that, and it seemed to work, but I had to manually crank up the volume on the iPhone and still had to turn the Mazda's volume to about 30 as opposed to the previous 15-20 to hear the audio. This isn't making alot of sense right now given that a MacBook works in a 2012. Is there anything I can do, it is causing me real frustrations.
