Turns out that we were all deceived. We can't help if you don't have the hardware. A 75% loss in pixel density is a pretty big deal Wouldnt you be angry if your car was advertised as doing 16 mpg, and you only got 4 mpg? So for future-proofing purposes, I think 4k is a plus. I don't consider it to be a huge issue and figure I'll probably adjust to it, and it may even be something addressed by a future driver update.
