I am a recovering Bobby fan - loved him in 71-74 but he lost me in the short-shorts, histrionics period. But, you know - to each their own. I haven't heard this show and have only looked at the setlist over the years after all the calls for it on these boards sorry, I just don't do the archive much. This album is expensive but worth every penny and I will be listening to it over and over for many years to come. I once thought the way you do. The last several Dave's Picks just started to get interesting with mixing it up more.

I roast my own coffee and the only coffee mug I will ever drink from is my Morning Brew mug I got from Dead. Sixtus I made my Aoxo purchase: I look forward to the live bonus tracks. And, let's not forget too. I am also fond of the trio of shows from October 10-28 through 10-30.

Did '77 Live-Dead Get Any-Better Than ' This! Didn't see anyway to enter. They're much happier selling 20 thousand Dave's Picks a quarter than 12 thousand. Judging by your avatar picture of The Closing of Winterland, I imagine you are a fan of what has to be the best Stagger Lee of all time and one of the few times Bobby sounds like he's somewhat proficient with the slide guitar.
