I loved watching Ash tap the keg with his chainsaw. This show is just so much fun that I wish it was more than 30 minutes! Ash vs Evil Dead followed the pattern of the movies, but this season set to rectify some of the past problems. These episodes just fly by so quickly don't they? Loves all things pop-culture especially if it has a bit of a counter-culture twist. That's quite a lot to fit into a half hour show, but it was done seamlessly. I thoroughly enjoyed her character last season and now that she will be joining team Ash, I think we're in store for a real treat.

They want the Necronomicon from Ruby, so she was left with no other choice but to break her truce with Ash to acquire his help. Ruby's knife seems to be the only weapon that is capable of destroying them. None of the actors get bogged down in the serious nature of the film. The season might be short, but it also seems about the right length because too big of doses of Ash can be too much. One issue plaguing Ash vs. You get one episode where Ash is pulled into a corpse by intestines…and nothing is hidden the full frontal scene…plus, we get more of the scary Ruby spawns.

But for once, Ash is not alone in his fight. As Ruby works to summon the power of the Necronomicon from Pablo, Candace, and Kelly fight an angry mob led by Sheriff Emery and Baal bent on capturing Ash. The makeup effects for the Deadites are so simple, yet creepy. This time, he'll have to form an uneasy alliance with his former enemy Ruby as Elk Grove becomes the nucleus to the most dangerous horror Ash has faced to date. It appears he isn't the only one still dealing with issues from last season, as Kelly was having an inner struggle with her demon self. Enjoys the art house but also isn't afraid to let in one or two popular movies at the same time.

The demon child inching towards Pablo with the creepy crab walk was unsettling, and was a nice nod to The Exorcist. That, coupled with the demonic squeals and jerky body movements make the Deadites terrifying. I'm looking forward to the dynamic Ruby brings to the team. I couldn't be more thrilled that Ash is back in his quest to save the world and taking us along for the ride! The wait is finally over and our favorite chainsaw wielding, one liner spewing, self-centered, egotistical demon slayer has returned. The writers have been doing a great job of fitting a lot into each episode without it feeling rushed. The series was popular with fans of the Evil Dead franchise, but sometimes struggled to find a mainstream audience. We also got to meet Ash's father, Brock Williams, played wonderfully by the excellently cast Lee Majors.
